iRacine.com Disclaimer for ALL Visitors.
Along with our “feel good” general disclaimer, we are asking every member, advertiser, sponsor, or other user of the site to understand the terms of the disclaimer as written out below. This is not a terms of services (TOS). The TOS is covered off in a wholly other binding document. Don’t you just love the stuff we feel we need to do to protect our members, advertisers, sponsors, and ourselves?
To address point one, first. Your religion is your own in the eyes of iRacine.com. To this end, if you wish to create a social networking page completely decked out in the religion of your choice, we will not stop you. Furthermore, if you wish to create a “group” or “page” on the iRacine.com social networking platform, that is quite alright too. However, iRacine.com as an entity will not support any religion-based organizations unless they choose to advertise with us or become a sponsor of iRacine.com (be advised a religious organization, like any other, must go through a rigorous evaluation before being considered for sponsorship).
If at any time a member, advertiser, or sponsor feels as though ones religion is being pushed upon them or is being portrayed as truth over their own religious beliefs, iRacine.com reserves the right to review these allegations and make a fair determination of the allegations and correct the issue should one exist. Correction is not limited to removing a religious group or members of the group or removing a member or set of members falsely accusing the religious group of overstepping their bounds. A common example of “Overstepping” bounds may be; purposefully and with intent to intimidate or belittle a person or group based on their religious beliefs.
To address point two, second. Your political affiliation and philosophy is your own in the eyes of iRacine.com. We are sounding redundant here aren’t we? Political affiliations and arguments therein are inconsequential to iRacine.com. If you impose or attempt to impose your philosophies without doing it within the proper forum – i.e. a “group” or “page”, then iRacne.com reserves the right to act upon those members who feel as though the political group has overstepped it’s bounds. Again, this determination is made solely by the iRacine.com team and all decisions are final.
iRacine.com is considering the addition of an Alderman’s Corner. Understand your alderman represents your district here in Racine. His or Her political affilitation is not in question here. These are elected officials who deserve the respect of the title they hold. It is ok to disagree with your alderman. However, there will be a location (a place for alderman to interact) for constituents to air their discontent or their pleasure with a position.
Punishment can range from a warning to full banishment from the website. And don’t try and sign in as a different account or from another IP address. I would not even try switching computers to display yourself with a different MAC address and from a different IP address. If you get caught disrupting iRacine.com after being banished from the site and you attempt to continue nefarious activities, we will find you, and we will seek prosecution to the fullest extent under the laws of Wisconsin.
If you did not understand anything said in the above paragraph and you have been banned from iRacine.com already we strongly recommend you do not come back.
iRacine.com reserves the right to manage, adjust, and make wholesale changes to any text, pictures, or any other media placed on the iRacine.com website. Please, have fun, but don’t be stupid.
