We highlight our BOLD listings because we feel this is where our advertisers will get the most bang for the buck. These listings are covered off in the Directory Advertising page on the website. However, since this type of advertising is different than a typical "banner advertisement," we feel it is better to also explain what a BOLD listing offers and give a clearer example of how this system works.

All levels within the iRacine.com Directory will offer BOLD listings for business owners. No matter which level you choose to list, the pricing remains the same. For example, you might prefer to BOLD list in the category your business is placed. However, we have a maximum of (5) listings per category. In which case, you have the opportunity to move up to the next level. The higher up you move your BOLD Listing, the less chance a spot would be available. Furthermore, the higher up the BOLD Listing, the less likely you will get a good return on investment (ROI).

Example:
I am the owner of Tanfastic (a Tanning salon) and I am located in the directory under "Beauty", then "Tanning." As the owner of Tanfastic I prefer to have a BOLD Listing in my group "Tanning" because then I know I am more likely to be seen by visitors looking for my services, "Tanning." However, if all (5) BOLD Listings under the "Tanning" section are accounted for, I might be satisfied with having a BOLD Listing under "Beauty," one category above "Tanning." Again, it is possible all (5) slots are taken under "Beauty." Then my last resort would be to try a BOLD Listing under all the main categories on the main directory page. Now, I would get much more visibility on the main page of the directory for the same price, but not all visitors navigating from the directory will be looking for my services. In any case, I have a number of locations within the directory to have a BOLD Listing and the price in any location is the same for every business. * iRacine.com is not affiliated with Tanfastic and has no financial interest in the business. How it works, pricing, and availability:

A BOLD listing will automatically BOLD your listing and places your listing at the top of the business level directory on the page you choose to list. There are (5) BOLD listings available on all levels. These listings are first come, first serve and when more than one listing in the business section is purchased the listings will be randomize for placement. For example, if you hold a BOLD listing in your business section and four other businesses have a BOLD listing, then the five listings will be randomized based on each visit to the page. Sometimes your business will be placed in first position and other times in fifth position. All BOLD listings will have an equal amount of time in the five positions. A business can have a BOLD Listing in as many categories as it likes. However, there is a restriction of (1) BOLD Listing per category and the business is obligated to pay the full amount for each listing.

Once you have reserved and paid for your business BOLD listing there are no refunds available. We feel these are the best deals for small businesses trying to get a little extra leverage within the directory. Our 1-year and 2-year increments are a dollar a day or less for advertising. If the directory brings in one or two paying customers per month, it pays for itself.
